Advantage of static graphics is that it’s all there and available to look at in any way the viewer wants, just skim the text or take their time viewing the illustrations. Availability of information to view in any order and at any pace.
Redundancy – ability to do things in multiple ways
Redundancy in Instructional Design will be offering users options such as a text heavy instructions plus visual instructions and also allowing the reader control over the screens for them to easily navigate back and forth.
The main ideas explored is that static Instructional Designs have limitations but are still practical for its uses. With Interactive Instructional Designs they keep users more engaged and offer more types and variations of instructions to suit the user’s needs.
