About me

Harrison Bell

I am a recent graduate of high school and now a design student at University of Western Sydney. I am studying a Bachelor of Visual Communication (design) for the next four years and I intend to complete it and pursue my passion in graphic design.

My area of expertise is in designing in adobe photoshop and illustrating in adobe illustrator as I enjoy combining both crafts in making illustrative pieces with design elements.

What is Interactive Design?

Interactive Design is simply the design of the interaction between users and products, whether it is the program or interactive elements. The interaction of the design with the user can determine whether the user would use the site again and how useful it was. Without an Interactive interface all site would be static and boring and lack the creative input in assisting in expressing messages by having a boring user experience.

Examples of Interactive Design:

Marine Ecosystem

This interactive allows the user to select any sea creature and provides them with relevant information related to the choice selected.

Map Box

An interactive that displays real time data for the user to view the current paths of data.

What is Instructional Design?

Instructional design, also known as instructional systems design , is the practice of systematically designing, developing and delivering instructional information via various mediums, digital screens and static print. Basically it instructs the user in how to do something or how it works through design.

Examples of Instructional Design:

Instructional design by clicking buttons.
Static instructional design.

Manipulative instructional design through drag and drop elements.
